This was the third office we built for Avinger in Redwood City. When we met, our first project was reconfiguring a previously installed Used Resolve office to fit more workers.
This office was made to order. We sourced a Used Resolve system in New York, which we liquidated from The Bank of Ireland. We put that inventory on a train and sent it to the San Francisco Bay Area, where we unloaded directly at the job site in Redwood City. We reupholstered used Humanscale Highback Freedom chairs to go with the stations.
This turnkey project put together most of our trademark skills and ended up looking quite nice.
Does it look used to you?
When we were first introduced to Pandora, they were still in the Ikea and refurbished panel "startup" phase. An excellent mathematician, the COO had figured that the Resolve system by Herman Miller would give them a smaller footprint per station without sacrificing on workspace.
We sourced an inventory of some several hundred stations for them just outside of Montreal, Canada. We loaded the product on some railway cars and sent the lot to the San Francisco Bay Area. After liquidating their old office in Oakland, we built them a new one across the street in three days.
We then moved Pandora into their new office. We built another Used Resolve office for them in Santa Monica, as well as an office in New York City.
While technically still new in the box, this was a preowned inventory on the books, and we priced it for them accordingly!
We recently had the pleasure of working with Sal of Paxica Group in Oakland. We worked with him to build his personal office. We used an in-stock laminate desking product in which we matched up the work surfaces with electric height adjustable bases, and we used Herman Mirra and Global task seating.
This project for Acronics in San Jose represents another signature Berkeley Office Interiors project. We started with space planning options into this space on a fast track. Then we used an HPL benching system that we liquidated in San Francisco and blended with an in-stock, new but low-cost, attractive desking system.
Great, fast results using high-quality new and used furniture at great prices = Win-Win-Win!
Options Recovery is one of our favorite nonprofits. They have a comprehensive program to help folks get into and through recovery and back to their best.
On this project we were challenged with fitting a number of workstations in a confined space. We designed this layout with Options and worked out a layout to optimize the space. We sharpened our pencil to offer them all of this at a great price, as we wanted to help them preserve their operating capital for their good work.
We used new Herman Miller Clone quick-ship workstations in this project.

This project illustrates a signature Berkeley Office Interiors project.
The challenge was to create a modern look while working within budget confines and a tricky, awkward space for this project. This project involved liquidating Source DNA's office furniture to make a new beginning for their interior environment. We used new in-stock benching with new height adjustable tables combined with used Reply chairs by Steelcase.
Berkeley Office Interiors sourced and installed used Steelcase/Turnstone benching stations for Merger Market in San Francisco. A great, well-designed system sourced in near-new condition and sold at a deep discount + professionally installed = the perfect furniture solution.
This project included mostly used Herman Miller Resolve blended with custom made work surfaces and height adjustable tables. We also installed some used Steelcase Turnstone Bivi benching desks and pre-owned Steelcase Think chairs!
Berkeley Office Interiors installed new workstations on this challenging project. We used a doggone layout with 120 degree workstations for the best fit.
